கண்ணால் காண்பதும் பொய், காதால்
கேட்பதும் பொய் - தீர விசாரிப்பதே
மெய்யென்று விசாரித்தேன் உன்னை - உன்
மனதறிய பொய் சொல்லிச் சென்றாயே...
என்னை விரும்பவில்லை என்று.....!!

Translation: I believe it is not right to infer from what is seen through eyes or heard through words. I believed it is right to ask you in person. You proved it is also wrong, by knowingly uttering a lie, that you do not like me....
